As we all know, planning a wedding can be very stressful. Choosing the right place to hold this once in a lifetime occassion can only add to the stress. Luckily, our first visit was made to Hacienda del Lago. After meeting with the friendly and attentive owners (Tom and Sue Ellen) and touring the beautifully kept property and house, our decision was easily made. The owners were attentive to our needs and ideas during the planning process. They also went out of their way to deal with vendors and planners to ensure timely arrivals and provided a sense of comfort and relief on wedding day. If you are looking for a picture-perfect wedding/vacation retreat for an affordable price, I proudly recommend Hacienda del Lago.

Tom and Suellen~ we can’t thank you enough for the hard work you both have put into making our wedding day unforgettable. Since meeting, you’ve gone out of your way time and again to help us. You attentively took care of many small details that went into our wedding that made a big difference. We didn’t even realize... many of these efforts until the party was over. Who would have thought the first day of spring would bring storms, strong rain, 30 mph winds, and forty degree temperatures. It could have been a disaster, but with your help and hard work it turned into our perfect wedding day. You were there with us from start to finish. Providing ideas/advice during the planning process, setting up the tent & decorations with us early, directing vendors and guests, acting behind the scenes during the ceremony and reception, and even staying up late for clean up after the guests left. You exceeded your responsibilities as a venue and our expectations. For that, you are exceptional! Tom even stayed up late Friday and into the early Sat morning hours patrolling the tent during the rain/strong winds to make sure it was safe as my bridesmaids and I slept. Just as we fell in love with the location and venue, so did our guests. We can’t help but mention your guys anytime guests compliment the venue or location. What a unique and personal experience we had. We are so lucky to have chosen this location for our wedding weekend and highly recommend it to others. Trust your wedding day will be just as special as ours at Hacienda del Lago.
