Hacienda del Lago is located just 1/2 mile outside of the Austin city limits and is only 25-30 minutes from downtown Austin. Lake Travis is over 63 miles long, so being on this side of the lake is a BIG advantage! To give some reference, we are exactly 3 miles from the famous Oasis Restaurant.

From Austin Airport
Exit Airport
Take 71 West (so go left under the expressway)
Merge onto Expressway
Stay on 71 West for about a mile
Merge Right onto 183 North
Stay on 183 North for 20.2 miles
Take the Anderson Mill Road Exit
Take Left onto Anderson Mill Road (so go left under the expressway)
Stay on Anderson Mill Road for about 2-3 miles
You will pass Highway 620 (a very large intersection)
Anderson Mill Road changes its name to Volente Road/FM 2769 once you pass 620
Continue 1-2 miles
Take Left when you see the signs “Volente” and “FM 2769”
Continue another 3-4 miles
Look for “14000 Volente Road” on your right. It is the next driveway past the historical marker for the old Anderson Mill.
Open gate and proceed up driveway about ¼ mile. You will pass a gravel road to your left and then you will pass a large stone house at the top of the hill. The next house is Hacienda del Lago (your home!). There is a large circular driveway with lavender planted in the middle. The house is a gray/green stucco and brick house.

From 290 Westbound…
Take 183 North
Stay on 183 North for about 12 miles
Take the Anderson Mill Road Exit
Take Left onto Anderson Mill Road (so go left under the expressway)
Stay on Anderson Mill Road for about 2-3 miles

Anderson Mill Road changes its name to Volente Road/FM 2769 once you pass 620
Continue 1-2 miles

There is also a public boat ramp at Cypress Creek Park, which is
exactly 1/2 mile from the entrance of our property.
We recommend Highland Lakes Marina (512) 258-9662. This is the largest boat rental business in the area (located next to Volente Beach Park) and is very reputable.
